Description

Do your students confuse words like median, range, mode and mean? Those words can be confusing enough to adults! What about a scalene triangle versus an isosceles triangle?

This power point helps students remember difficult, but important math words. Each word has a link word, which rhymes with the word the student needs to remember. Then it also has a fun sentence to help the student remember the new word.

The students are then encouraged to make a funny drawing to help them remember the new word. Research has shown that when students make drawings of new vocabulary words they are much more likely to remember the new word!

Take a look at the preview and help your students remember these math terms: median, mode, range, mean, scalene, equilateral, isosceles, sum, acute angle and right angle.
