This product includes several different note taking sheets and rubrics to be used with problem solving. They are perfect for gluing in your math notebook, or creating a student workbook for the entire year.
How to use:
Note Taking Sheets: Use the note taking sheets as a tool for your students to organize their thinking when unpacking a word problem. This will give them the space they need to organize what they know, make a plan, solve and explain their thinking.
Rubric- The problem solving rubric will give you a way to assess not only if your student got the problem right, but the effort they put forth in the problem solving process. By rewarding effort students are most likely to take the steps needed to be successful.
