Open Notebook enables math teachers to create documents like worksheets, tests and quizzes easily. It includes native tools for adding rich mathematical content like graphs, equations, number lines and geometric models with ease. Many tools exist for programmers and mathematicians, Latex is a favorite among these audiences, and tools like MS Word provide some basic functionality to edit equations. Unfortunately nothing has available to allow for the creation of complete professional mathematical materials without a steep learning curve, until now.

If you find the software useful, please share it with your colleagues and social networks. We want everyone to know about this great free tool that can make their math teaching experience easier!

Open Notebook is Open Source and free software, I am working my hardest to provide a quality tool that will help teachers, but be advised that this tool may contain bugs and comes with no guarantees. Please file bug reports or request new features here: https://github.com/jaltekruse/OpenNotebook/issues

I have not been able to download it. I tried it on my PC, and on my Mac. It doesn't recognize the developer, and says it cannot run. I don't know if I need to download another app first in order to run it.
