Free article - Explaining Negative Exponents
Share

Description

This is a handout I made for teachers and students to explain those confusing negative exponents. I just don't like seeing kids blindly memorizing that rule of putting 1 on top and then solving the exponent, so I'm making this a free download. Hopefully it is useful to someone.

A nice piece! Thank you for sharing this. The ONLY thing (and it's small) I might recommend adding to this is some form of a hand out for the students. But again, a nice explanation.
