Description
Are you new to using Comprehensible Input strategies in your classroom? Start with this product to help you develop a daily routine to start class with Free Voluntary Reading, Calendar Talk, Weather Talk, class small talk (How are you? etc.), and Lunch Talk. Included is an editable Google Slides presentation with slides for each activity and a description of how to do them.
- With Calendar Talk I've included a calendar for each month from August 2024 to June 2025. The slides are editable so you can add in student birthdays, special events, and holidays as needed.
-There are extension activities included after Weather Talk to help students acquire French numbers and learn some geography.
-Lunch Talk is a way to get students discussing food in an authentic way. Rather than memorize the textbook's Chapter 4 food vocabulary list, students will learn the foods that are relevant to their lives, learn how to discuss their food likes and dislikes, and learn how to describe the food as tasty, spicy, sour, etc.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this product! I hope that these slides help you feel confident in implementing CI strategies in your classroom in an organized way!
