Description

L'heure (3e) is a comprehensive unit for understanding units of time, telling time, and understanding elapsed time. It gives you ready to go material that's engaging and takes the guess work out of your planning. This unit is designed to be a low-prep solution to save you time and make planning a breeze.

These units are specifically designed for immersion learners, and try to minimize the amount of text to teach the lessons in the most direct and visual way possible.

This topic goes over units of time, telling time on an analog clock, writing time (drawing the hands) and elapsed time.

This resource includes:

  • 4 lesson slideshows
  • 24 worksheets (includes answer key)
  • 60 Task cards (Every 15 min, every 5 min, elapsed time)
  • 10 Warm ups (slides and journal strips)
  • 3 Hands-on activity ideas

Lessons are designed to give an overview of the concept then dives into examples using a I do, we do, you do approach to give them lots of group practice before embarking on independent activities.

Note: This product and suggested grade is based on the BC Curriculum expectations. It was created in Canada where it is customary to use "et quart" and "moins quart".
