Overview:
The French Revolution “Reals” Project is an immersive, student-centered lesson that blends historical inquiry with social media storytelling. Students step into the shoes of revolution-era characters and create TikTok or Instagram-style videos from their perspective. This creative activity promotes deep content knowledge, primary source analysis, and authentic voice—all while increasing engagement and retention.
