Your French as Second Language (FSL) students will love practicing their French conversation skills with these prompts! Need a French speaking activity that students will actually enjoy and experience success with? These French conversation slides are your answer!
There are 11 different questions for your students to practice with. Each question is on its own slide. Each question is also accompanied by an answer slide. This slide provides students with the vocabulary necessary to answer the question that their partner asks.
I suggest that you use these conversation starter slides in the following way:
Step 1: Play French music and have students walk around the room.
Step 2: When the music stops, students find a partner that they have not worked with yet in class today.
Step 3: The taller partner asks the question.
Step 4: The shorter partner uses the answer slide to help them respond to the question.
Step 5: Partners change roles and repeat the same question.
Step 6: Play French music and students continue to walk around the room. The next time that the music stops, display a different question slide for them to try with a new partner.
