Description
Frog & Butterfly Life Cycles Homework Bracelets with QR Codes! These bracelets link to review videos & simple family games to practice new learning about butterfly & frog life cycles! Strengthen the school-home connection by letting parents know what the students are learning and providing simple & meaningful "games" to help their students master the new information. These 2 Life Cycle of Butterflies & Frogs bracelets use QR codes to link students to engaging videos to help practice new life cycle vocabulary (egg, larva, pupa, chrysalis, adult, tadpole, etc.) along with simple "Secret Games" for students to play with their families to practice the new concept of life cycles. Students love to show off their new learning at home with these QR code bracelets!
This set is part of my DISCOUNTED Kindergarten Homework Bracelets with QR Codes BUNDLE (164+ bracelets!)!
Each life cycle band also includes a labeled diagram of the frog or butterfly life cycle for student reference.
Simply print the color or black/white bracelets (the parent directions print on the back), and tape/glue/staple the paper band around the students' wrists or to their backpacks or folders. Let students know that you have a special video for them to watch at home about what they learned in class today, AND you’ve also attached a SECRET GAME for them to play with their families.
Students will excitedly present the bracelets to their parents to scan with their smart phone, tablet, or iPad at home.
Now, when the parent asks, “What did you learn at school today?” the child can proudly share and practice their new learning! The “Secret Game” is designed to get students excited to share the bracelet with their families, and is a simple and meaningful way for the family to reinforce what was learned at school that day. By seeing the content in various contexts, and giving parents meaningful strategies to reinforce concepts taught at school, students better retain their new learning!
***Please NOTE:*** These Butterfly & Frog Life Cycles Bracelets each link to an educational YouTube video using a QR code. If you plan to use these bracelets at school (rather than students' homes), please download the preview to test that the QR codes open on your school device (and on school WiFi) before purchasing. This is because some districts block YouTube, but it will not be an issue if parents use their own devices to access the videos at home. I value your time!***
