Description

Fruit Loop Challenges are a fun way to end a week of classes, kick of an afterschool program, or host a genius hour. Perfect for St. Patrick's Day or any time! Using simple, inexpensive materials, this activity can be used for a whole class or as a station. Students can work in teams or individually. And the activities can be adapted to make them easier or harder as needed.

Included are instructions for both the educator and the participants, a materials list, six cereal challenge, and printable tally sheets for scoring. A presentation is included for whole-class programs, while printable cards are perfect for small groups or individuals.

This activity has been tested with students in grades K-6. Tips for adapting the activity are included.

This was a fun activity to do on St. Patrick's day. We had some left over fruit loops from our 100 day activities and so I used this activity. The kids had so much fun. Thanks
