This bundle includes six booklets accurately depicting the life cycles of the honey bee, ant, ladybug, lightning bug/firefly, Painted Lady butterfly, and Monarch butterfly. Students love creating their very own books, and these make for wonderful spring or summer activities!
Next, take the study of insect life cycles to the next level with the Life Cycle Stages Sorting Activity. Realistically depicting the life cycles of six types of insects, these cards are sorted by the four main stages of complete metamorphosis: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The insects included are the ant, honeybee, ladybug, lightning bug, monarch butterfly, and painted lady butterfly. Students will learn to draw parallels across these species, and eventually to many others that also undergo complete metamorphosis.

-Color master w/ blank line for handwriting
-Color title page w/ insect decoration
-Black & white title page w/ insect decoration
-Simple (Montessori-friendly!) title page with words only
Included in the Life Cycle Stages Sorting Activity:
-4 labels: Egg, Larva, Pupa, Adult
-Numeral labels to affix to backs labels for self-correction (optional)
