Description

These flashcards are hand drawn letters. The pictures connect with the action done to help reinforce and learn the sound the letter makes. Each sound connects to the letter in an actual way rather than just the connection to a picture of something that starts with the letter (like an animal).

They are fun and cute flashcards that get all students interested. Students learn through auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. ESL students and those who struggle to pay attention enjoy learning with these cards because of the auditory, visual, and mostly the kinesthetic.

Students should have fun learning their letters and sounds! The students will remember the actions long after mastering all their letters and sounds - they are great prompts to guide with spelling words.

Download now includes 3 uppercase sets, 2 lowercase sets, colored intervention half sheets, handwriting sheets, black and white mini flashcards to send home, and parent note.

This download has black and write and colored versions along with the colored versions. The colored versions were done with markers and you can tell that they were done with markers. However, having the colored version means less hours coloring for you! (I added in a digitally colored set of Uppercase Letters only)

I cut down my pages and glue on construction paper/cardstock for a nicer finish.

Check them out on my blog: Fun Alphabet Flashcards

This is a MUST HAVE resource when it comes to adding the visual/kinesthetic component to learning letters and sounds. I've added it to our Heggerty routine as well as our letter/sound curriculum routine and I've been AMAZED at the results! Thank you so much!
