Description
Fun Friday Tickets are an easy, positive and low-prep way to motivate students all week and end the week on a high note. This flexible Fun Friday behavior management and incentive system allows students to earn tickets for positive choices, effort, kindness, and learning, then use those tickets on Friday to choose how they’d like to spend their time.
This flexible resource works well for a wide range of classrooms because it’s easy to adjust to fit your students, your schedule, and your expectations. Whether you want to keep it very simple or build a full choice-based reward system, everything you need is included!
What's Included:
- 17 Fun Friday ticket options - Use the basic generic ticket or choose tickets that praise specific behaviors, effort, or choices (see preview for examples!)
- Editable ticket versions so you can customize wording for your classroom
- Printable choice boards - You can choose what activities or rewards are available on Fun Friday and assign a ticket "cost" to each. Inludes versions with space for 4, 6, or 9 choices.
- Editable choice board slides - Edit in PowerPoint or slides and display digitally
- Optional reflection sheet for goal-setting and weekly reflection
- Optional tracking sheets to help ensure every student receives a ticket throughout the week
How to Use this Resource:
- Start by choosing a ticket style and printing tickets or using the included colored versions. I recommend print tickets in batches so they’re ready to go for several weeks!
- Next, set up your choice board for the week using the 4-, 6-, or 9-choice layout. Add activities or rewards your students already enjoy and decide how many tickets each option will cost.
- Introduce Fun Friday to your students in a positive way, letting them know they can earn tickets all week by making good choices, showing effort, being kind, and demonstrating learning. Tickets are given throughout the week as positive reinforcement.
- On Friday, display the choice board so students can clearly see their options. Students then use their tickets to select an activity or reward.
This Fun Friday Ticket System is intentionally flexible! There’s no single “right” way to use it—adjust it as needed to support your classroom and your students while keeping the focus on progress, growth, and ending the week feeling successful.
Please note that all components (aside from the student reflection form) have been included as editable PowerPoints. These will also work in Google Slides, but you will need to choose your own font from those available in Google!
