Description

Can your students sell a planet?! Sure they can, and they will once you assign this purposeful, creative project. Small groups of students will research one of the planets in our solar system. The group's mission is to SELL SELL SELL their planet to the class through an oral presentation and creating a visual component to support their presentation. We all know that facts alone can be useless, but knowing how to SELL the facts can be fun, entertaining and educational! Groups can create brochures, glosters, iMovies, skits, power points, auctions, photo stories. 3-4 class periods are needed to research and create, and one class period to SELL their planet in 3 minute presentation.
A grading rubric is included.
