What's included?

There are 9 activities for each concept.

1. Learn & Try worksheets include a mini- anchor chart introducing the skill with an example and 3 beginning practice problems.
2. Practice and Bonus Challenge worksheets require students to use 3-digit addition to solve problems without regrouping, with regrouping, and word problems. These sheets increase in rigor from a basic introduction level to independent practice, with students creating their own problems. So, you can give students each sheet in order to gradually scaffold and increase rigor, or pick and choose sheets for students to differentiate!
3. Find the Mistake worksheets require students to look at problems that have already been solved to determine what mistake was made and which sum is correct.
4. Code Break is a fun and engaging way to give students extra practice. They first must use the code of doodles to decipher the addends, then find the sums.
5. Crossword is another fun and engaging activity that helps students self-check since their answers must be correct for them to fit in the crossword together.
6. Color by Number worksheets are 2-page activities. Students solve the triple digit addition questions on sheet 1 in order to color sheet 2 according to the code. (There are two activities for each concept - 6 color-by-code worksheet activities total.)
