Description
This free Winter game will create lots of fun for math games. Students will be generating data to create a statistics graph e.g. a bar graph, tally chart and/ or picture graph also sometimes known as a pictograph or pictogram. They will use their statistics table to interpret this data, ask and answer questions.
Where there is a difference in U.K. and U.S. spellings I have provided both, but they are on different sheets for students so please choose the correct version.
This will help your students by:
- learning about statistics in a fun way
- easy to follow game
- generating data, plotting this and answering questions to understand data interpretation
- making up their own questions for their peers
- cute winter clipart makes this appealing
- playing with peers or individually to practice this math/ maths skill
This will help you by:
- having a fun game to assess, discuss and explain any misconceptions
- children can play this independently as part of lesson
- instructions included
- winter theme
- fun homework
- homeschool / home education
- resource can be stored for example in a zip bag centrally for children to choose during free choosing time e.g. wet play time
This resource can be printed onto letter and A4 size paper.
If you are interested there are more winter and Christmas themes for statistics in my TpT store, this includes black and white versions for more printing options and resources with Dyslexic font for those students who will benefit form this.
