Program Description

This is the third session in the 8 session long Fun with Coding program, which gets students familiar with computers and basic coding. Program breakdown:

• Sessions 1 & 2 will focus on using the mouse with lightbot
• Sessions 3 to 5 will focus on the keyboard using typing.com
• Sessions 6 & 7 will use all the equipment with CodeCombat
• Session 8 is a review that allows students to explore further

Session Description

In this session students are introduced to using the keyboard and typing.com

By the end they will learn how to type using these keys J,F,U,R, ‘space’

Required Equipment

Students will need access to a computer with internet connection.

Included Content & Support
You will get slides for a full 1 hour session. The slides give a suggested structure, some class instructions, and a few troubleshooting tips. If you find you need further support there is an included 30 min support call that covers troubleshooting issues, content clarification, content modifications, and any other support you may need.
