Excellent resource to target one of the most difficult and yet most important skill in middle school mat, functions. Really helped my struggling students to “get it” and as practice for those that had a better understanding. Used it with all my middle schoolers..6th Advanced, 7th grade core, 7th Advanced, and pre algebra. Highly recommended. Easy to incorporate.

These were great and really showed me what my students knew and didn't know. And it wasn't just numbers you were replacing f(x) with, but other variables too and many students weren't sure what to do so it added some good conversations.

Great activity to get the students up and moving around the room. Errors: #2 & #8: you've reversed the order on the solution page from what the problem is asking. For subtraction problems, the order does matter. #2 asks for k(x) - h(x); your solution page solves for h(x) - k(x). #8 asks for (k-h)(x); your solution page solves for (h-k)(x).
