Description

No special education teacher can ever have too many independent work tasks or work boxes. And for students who are older (middle school or high school), they may still be working on basic skills and life skills . But we want their file folders and task cards to be functional and relatable to real-life tasks.

In this task, students match shirts on hangers next to shirts of the same color, as they would when stocking a store.

This series of work boxes are desgiend to do just that. They are specially designed for independent work systems. But they also are flexible to allow you use them how you need them, whether in direct instruction, turn-taking games or for independent work systems.

What's Included?

The materials in this set can be used to make:

12 TASK CARDS (with movable matching pieces): Cut the cards apart to make 12 task cards. Task cards work well for differentiating tasks and preventing memorization.

OR

1 FILE FOLDER ACTIVITY: This set includes the pages and pieces for 1 file folder activity. File folder activities are great for keeping tasks self-contained for students who have difficulty organizing their materials.

And DIRECTIONS for assembly and how to use them

Many of my students are working on identical matching skills within the VB-MAPP. Thank you for making such a simple task that reinforces such tricky skills for some students to master!
