This year-long math curriculum focuses on teaching math skills and concepts through real photos and real-world texts. This resource is designed for special education students and autistic learners as it is visual-based and features a step-by-step progression of skills.
This curriculum includes embedded assessments allowing for data-based decision making and accurate progress monitoring. Simplify your math instruction and planning with this daily activity-based curriculum, utilizing over 180 engaging activities that promote skill application and generalization in real-world situations.
Level 1 of our Functional Math Leveled Daily Curriculum focuses on focuses on teaching basic math skills applied to real world situations, including: identifying numbers 1-90 in real world situations, sequence numbers, utilize numbers within a calendar, identify greater than or less than, addition word problems for digits 0-9, match coins to a price, answer who, what, and where questions with numbers, complete basic kitchen math, answer questions about and create bar graphs, line graphs, and pie charts, tell time to the hour and half hour, basic time and money word problems, and measure and compare items with a ruler.
This curriculum includes:
- 2 types of lesson plan templates
- 2 types of data sheets
- Detailed curriculum map
- 8 units + 1 review unit
- Pre and post tests for all 8 units
This resource easily aligns with TAH’s Math Leveled Daily Curriculum for a structured and comprehensive math program.
