"This product helped my students practice their GCF and LCM skills. Due to the riddle, they were able to self-check and correct as needed."

Description

Riddles are a great way to make a boring worksheet fun. However, I found students knew the answer to the riddle and just chose the answers to fill in the letters without doing any of the math. This way, students have to create the riddle before they can answer it.

* Perfect for centers, homework or independent/group practice
* Engaging activity for students to practice
* Answer Key included

This was a really great way to make a riddle that required the students to complete ALL of the work in order to complete the riddle. Thank you!

Finally, a riddle resource that my students can't puzzle out the answer and short cut their practice! Thank you.

Find the greatest common factor of two whole numbers less than or equal to 100 and the least common multiple of two whole numbers less than or equal to 12. Use the distributive property to express a sum of two whole numbers 1–100 with a common factor as a multiple of a sum of two whole numbers with no common factor.
