Students will use their knowledge of forces and simple machines to create a Rube Goldberg machine to perform a very simple task. They will be in control of every detail from beginning to end; starting with brainstorming, to designing, gathering materials, construction, testing, adapting and tinkering, to finally an end product to present to the class. .ppt includes three fun video examples as inspiration.

The last two video links did not work so needs to be updated.Was expecting more considering the price paid.
Oh, my! Thank you. I searched YouTube again and found the second video available as "College Students Create Incredible Coke Machine" posted by MileHiGuy51. The third video can be found as "OK Go This Too Shall Pass Rube Goldberg Machine", posted by Roman Jokernik. I apologize for the links being out of date.
