Invite your students to explore the vastness of the universe with this engaging Galaxies One-Pager Research Project! Designed for middle school (grades 6-8) or early high school, this activity guides learners to investigate what galaxies are, how they form and evolve, and the different types (spiral, elliptical, irregular) that fill our universe.
This resource is perfect for a unit wrap-up, gallery walk display, alternative assessment, or enrichment assignment. Whether in the classroom, remote, or hybrid, this product is print-and-go or fully editable, saving prep time while engaging students in astronomy.
When students are finished with their one pagers, have them do a gallery walk to view other students work. When my students finish one pagers, I put all of their finished projects on a Prezi and have them do a virtual gallery walk. The students love it!
