This ​Gallery Walk activity is aimed at High School students who are embarking on a new textbook or unit with difficult vocabulary or concepts. This activity serves as a pre-reading activity to prepare them for the ideas and terminology they will encounter using their own understanding and observational skills.

It provides an explanation of what a Gallery Walk is, how to organize one with the least amount of resources, and is accompanied by a graphic organizer that students will fill out to generate understanding.
