This STUDENT FAVORITE is sure to create a lasting memory for your students! In this lab, students will explore force, pressure, and surface area. They will get practice in completing calculations and making predictions as they get to EXPLODE A PUMPKIN! What gets better than that?! It being able to used for ALL AGES! You can scaffold the activity, do it as a demonstrations, work in small groups, or work in large groups - the options are limitless!!

Materials Needed... (so simple!)
⭐Medium Size Pumpkin(s)
⭐500 + Rubber Bands
⭐Trash Bags/Poster Paper (for easier clean up)
⭐Can be done as a whole class, large groups, or small groups! Just need to up the supplies!
Get your students engaged in science while also having some fun around the Halloween time! My goal when making these labs was to bring back the nostalgia of Halloween in school in 2000s; where we were able to focus on making science exciting and themed, not just teaching to standards!
