My students did well when using this for notes. Folding the paper was a challenge to get the foldable set up, but after it was created, the directions were well written out. I printed copies of the directions, as well as posting the document to Google classroom. I talked about each section we were on, and showed a video about Gregor Mendel when that flap was up to take notes on. I find the students more engaged in the activity when they have something to do with their hands, and this was perfect, and allowed their notes to be well organized with a definition and example for vocabulary words. Will use in years to come.

My only issue is that I ended up having to make all of the templates for the students. For whatever reason, 14 year olds can't fold, staple, and cut paper as specified without wasting it. A few students would put the information UNDER the flap instead of above the title on the flap.
