Description

These task cards were created to support students while they are working with the Geomags magnetic rods and steel balls sets. The pictures are to scale so students can place the pieces right on the card or build it next to the card. In this set, I have included numbers 0-9 as well as 7 2-dimensional shapes.

I will be using these cards in a fine motor skills center for students. Students will be able to use the cards as a reference when they are building at the center, or they can build whatever they would like.

These cards could also be used in a math center to practice number and shape formation. Students could build the shapes according to the card and then count the number of vertices (steel balls on the cards) that shape has. Geomags are great for STEM activities when students are building towers. These cards could be a good introductory activity for students when getting used to using the materials.

I hope you and your students enjoy building and learning with these cards!
