Geometric Proofs Notes and Practice
(3 pages total: two pages of notes and one page of practice)
On the 2 pages of notes, students will be introduced to two-column proofs, Congruent Supplements Theorem and Congruent Complements Theorem. There are two proofs in the notes for the teacher to guide the students through or to let students try on their own.
The one practice page consists of 2 partially completed geometric proofs which students will have to complete. For both proofs on the practice page, there is a statements and reasons bank for students to choose from.
The notes page could be used in class to introduce two-column geometric proofs or as a review.
The practice page could be used in class as individual, partner or small group work or as homework.
