Description
In this transformations sort activity, students will categorize transformations as a dilation, rotation, reflection, or translation based on the general rule applied to the coordinates. For example, students will see (x,y)-->(-x,y) and classify it as a reflection. Several of the cards have a combination of two transformations. The cards are sorted on a 4-way Venn Diagram.
