The Geometry Alphabet project is an easy, low-prep project for students that works great for a midterm project, winter finals project, or for the end of the year (especially after testing!). Students will find as many geometry-related vocabulary words or phrases as they can for each letter of the alphabet, then select one term for each letter to find the definitions and provide examples or illustrations. The project is broken down by day (students brainstorm words on 1st day, find definitions and create examples on the 2nd day, then can spend 1-3 days creating their geometry alphabet book. Rubric is included for their final geometry book. The project is easily adaptable for other math levels but is very easy for Geometry, but also works with 7th and 8th grade students!
