Description

This choice board provides students the opportunity to learn about decimal computation while giving them a voice. You can have students work independently, in partners, or in groups. Students will pick one activity from each row (color) to present or to turn in. These activities will appeal to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners and include:

1. Write a RAP explaining how to find the area of composite and irregular shapes

2. Create a KAHOOT over finding the area of composite and irregular shapes

3. Create a GAME with at least 10 problems over finding the area of composite and irregular shapes

4. Make a GOOGLE SLIDESHOW over finding the surface area using nets

5. Design a PAGE from a math book showing how to find the surface area of 3D shapes

6. Make a POSTER (flipchart) showing how to find the surface area of 3D shapes

7. Create and solve 4 WORD PROBLEMS over finding the volume with fractions and decimals

8. Create a WORKSHEET with an answer key over finding the missing volume

9. Write a LETTER to a friend explaining step-by-step how to find the volume of a 3D shape
