Geometry Constructive Triangles Command Cards for Rectangular Box Blue Bundle
Share

Description

Geometry Constructive Triangle Extension Cards provide fun extension activities to the sensorial presentations and lessons and reinforce the forming and nomenclature of triangles and the constructed shapes, comparing and measuring sides, and determining the perimeter of the triangles and their constructed shapes. This is 5 sets totalling 53 cards to use with the geometry RECTANGULAR BOX OF BLUE TRIANGLES. The cards are provided for you in PDF format.

This is for the Rectangular Set of Blue Triangles

Level 1: Name and sort the triangles

Level 2: Name the shapes constructed by the triangles

Level 3: Compare the sides of the triangles and the constructed shapes

Level 4: Measure the sides of the triangles and the constructed shapes

Level 5: Determine the perimeter of the triangles and the constructed shapes

Use these cards for your child or student to:

  • improve concentration, coordination, independence, and problem solving skills
  • develop visual discrimination
  • match solid objects with plane (2D) figures to assist the move from concrete to abstract
  • name the shapes constructed by the triangles.
  • develop the logical mathematical mind.
  • give the child practical experience in plane geometry.

To make the cards:

  1. Print on cardstock
  2. Cut them along the horizontal and fold along the vertical to make double-sided cards (so the control of error is one the back of the card)
  3. Laminate (optional)
  4. Hole-punch and put a ring around them for easy handling and storage (optional)

Please do not make unauthorized copies of this resource. Connect with me to ask about using with OutSchool.

Montessori command cards are for practicing independent work.

Many other command card sets do not include the answer on the back, which makes the child reliant on the teacher for the control of error.
