This product includes 7 notebook activities, sorts, and foldables that focus on:
-Plane shapes and features (rectangle, square, triangle, circle)
-Solid shapes in the real world
-Solid shape features (face, edge, vertex)
-Points, Lines, Segments, Rays
-Naming an angle (3 ways)
-Finding angles in shapes
-Congruent/noncongruent figures
-Vocabulary
Word Wall strips for words found in the unit are also included.
The activities come with easy to follow directions printed on the activity itself for students to be able to complete the notebook work at centers if desired.
The idea of the activities in this pack is to get students more involved in their own learning by creating and having hands-on experiences. The activities have definition or notes on the topic to serve as basic notes for students' future reference.
My third graders love notebooking! These interactive activities make perfect reinforcing mini-lessons and give the students a way to add creativity to what they are learning in class. Interactive notebooks also serve as a scrapbook for learning that students remember making and can refer to throughout the year. These notebooks made end of year review for our state test a lot easier!
