1. Lapbook cover

2. Face, edge, and vertex cut and paste insert

3. Line, line segment, ray, and angle T-fold

4. Solid figure flip flap book (cube, rectangular prism, sphere, pyramid, cone, cylinder)

5. Polygon flip flap book (triangle, quadrilateral, pentagon, hexagon, octagon)

6. Congruent and similar interlocking piece

7. Naming triangles by length of sides (equilateral, isosceles, scalene)

8. Naming triangles by angles (right triangle, acute triangle, obtuse triangle)

9. Types of lines T-fold (parallel, intersecting, perpendicular)

10. Types of angles T-fold (right, acute, obtuse)

11. Symmetry flap (lines of symmetry)

12. Measure it! Layered book (perimeter, area, volume)

13. Movement cut and paste (turn/rotation, flip/reflection, slide/translation)

14. Quadrilaterals cut and paste (square, rectangle, parallelogram, rhombus, trapezoid)

Understand that shapes in different categories (e.g., rhombuses, rectangles, and others) may share attributes (e.g., having four sides), and that the shared attributes can define a larger category (e.g., quadrilaterals). Recognize rhombuses, rectangles, and squares as examples of quadrilaterals, and draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not belong to any of these subcategories.
Solve real world and mathematical problems involving perimeters of polygons, including finding the perimeter given the side lengths, finding an unknown side length, and exhibiting rectangles with the same perimeter and different areas or with the same area and different perimeters.
Find the area of a rectangle with whole-number side lengths by tiling it, and show that the area is the same as would be found by multiplying the side lengths.
Measure areas by counting unit squares (square cm, square m, square in, square ft, and improvised units).
Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
