Description

In this packet, you will find 16 task cards that will help students practice measuring and drawing angles. Students also need to be able to distinguish between acute and obtuse angles.

I have drawn these angles so that students should round their measurement to the nearest 5 degrees.

A QR Code is included on each card so students can check their answers immediately. QR Codes are codes that can embed text, video, or website addresses. In this activity, most of the QR Codes lead to text, but 4 of them do lead to a website, so students will need to connect to the internet to see those answers.

You can obtain a QR Code Reader App for FREE for many mobile devices.

I have also included a record sheet that students can use to record their answers.

I have also included an answer key.

A copy of a protractor that can be cut out if your students do not have one is also included.

The students loved this work and how it was organized. GREAT quick quiz tool to see if they are on track. The only thing that I would like to have had was the angles illustrated with the arc. Also it would have been helpful if the rays had an arrow on them. We have been doing lines, line segments, and rays and the kids wanted to know why these weren't designated either as a line segment or a ray.
