Description
In this set of notes and examples, students will work to prove the Midline Theorem.
In this file, you will find two versions of the proof. In the first version, just the diagrams and a place for students to fill in their notes about the proof is given.
In the second version, I have given all of the steps for the proof and the students just have to fill in the reasons.
Several examples are given that the teacher can work through with the class, so the students can see how the proof is used in a problem.
Finally, I have also provided a sample Coordinate proof that can be used to prove the Midline Theorem.
An answer key to all pages is provided.
