Simplified, customizable powerpoint file ideal for giving 1 or 2 lectures on segments, rays, and distance on a number line. This file was created to be high school level, but it could easily be adapted to other grades.

Contains:

- 2 Bell Ringers (points, lines, and planes review and segment length)

- List of objectives

- 11 slides of notes in simple design (easy to print out for students) teaching segments, rays, opposite rays, congruent segments, midpoints, bisectors, segment addition postulate, ruler postulate

- 10 examples to work through, including 3 standardized test questions from real ACTs

- Timed self-check activity

- 2 Exit Tickets and place to add homework assignment at the bottom of each
