Description

This project covers parallel lines, transversals, angle relationships and types of angles, basic shapes and perpendicular lines.

Students first create a rough draft of their project - labeling the required elements.

Students also create a glossary of the terms they are using in the project.

Finally, students trace their project on an 8x10 glass frame with permanent marker.

The result is a beautiful stained glass piece and a great review of important geometry skills.

With a digital link on the last page.

I use this as a project at the end of the chapter. The first time I did this - I was very nervous, but the students did AWESOME projects.

My students had a lot of fun with this activity. They did it on tracing paper with colored pencils and the projects look very nice hanging in my windows. Thank you!
