Description
Need to see how well your students understand finding the equation of a tangent line given the equation of the circle and a point on the circle (through which the tangent must pass)? This five question Google Form will help you to pinpoint who's struggling and where.
The problems include the following:
- points in every quadrant
- answer choices that are designed to be more challenging, less obvious
- multiple choice problems with the 6 answer choices for each problem
- you can delete any of the answer choices if you'd like to do so
- set up to be auto-graded--but not released to them immediately (You can change this option if you want students to see their grade immediately by just clicking a checkbox in settings ⚙ > quizzes > release grade immediately ✅.)
- set at 20 points total--you can change the point values for each question (completely customizable)
- set up to shuffle so that students don't see the questions or answers in the same order
The entire Google Form is shown in the preview pictures, so check those out!
This Google Form is great for use as a ticket out the door (exit ticket), a formative assessment, a homework check, a shorter homework assignment, or a warm up.
This Google Form can be further customized to fit your classroom needs!
Some of the options available to you to customize the assignment include:
- Scrambling the order of the problems✔ and/or the answer choices✔
- Auto-grading✔
- Changing the format from multiple choice/matching to constructed responses
- Adding, editing, or deleting problems and answers
- Requiring students to sign in✔ or not
- Allowing students to see their grade immediately or when you choose✔
