This engaging geometry activity includes 112 task cards, student answer documents, answer keys, and shape name cards to practice identifying characteristics of two dimensional and three-dimensional shapes and classifying shapes. This fun activity is perfect for small group instruction or math stations. When used in a small group, you will easily see student mistakes to help them master geometry!

- 20 Quadrilateral task cards
- 20 Classifying shapes task cards

- 4 Student answer documents
Directions:
Copy the task cards on cardstock then laminate. Make enough shape cards for each student and slide in a protective sleeve, or copy on cardstock and laminate to make them last longer.
Shape with Name Cards: Students use the shape with name cards to help them identify the correct shape being described on the task cards.
Task Cards: 112 different geometry task cards both two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes.
Answer Keys: Use to quickly check student work while working in small groups. If this activity is used in a workstation, I would put a responsible student in charge of the answer key.
I prefer to use task cards as guided practice in my small group, so I can see where students are making their mistakes. Task cards can also be used in a math station to reinforce the skill also.
