Collaborative Poster Project + Real-World Exit Ticket

Bring your Chapter 3 review to life with this hands-on, interactive activity that gets students moving, creating, and reviewing key concepts together!

Students will each be assigned (or choose) a specific section from Chapter 3 to summarize and represent visually on a poster or graphic organizer. This collaborative project helps students deepen their understanding while reinforcing key vocabulary, theorems, and problem-solving strategies.

Chapter 3 Topics Include:

  • 3.1: Angle Relationships with Transversal Lines
  • 3.2: Solving for Angles in Parallel Lines
  • 3.2: Angles, Solving & Intro to Proofs
  • 3.2: Proofs Using Angle Relationships
  • 3.3: Converse of Parallel Line Theorems
  • 3.4: Parallel and Perpendicular Lines
  • 3.7: Equations of Lines in the Coordinate Plane
  • 3.8: Writing Equations of Parallel Lines
  • 3.8: Writing Equations of Perpendicular Lines

How It Works:

  1. Students create a poster or graphic organizer explaining their assigned section (including examples, definitions, and visuals).
  2. Groups participate in a gallery walk, rotating around the room to review and comment on each other’s posters.
  3. Students complete an exit ticket with a real-world problem that ties together multiple Chapter 3 concepts — reinforcing understanding and application.
