Description
This digital presentation template in Google Slides™ is a creative way for your students to explore different geometry terms. Each slide contains one geometry term. Students will type definitions of the words and then add one of the following to each slide:
- Search for an image that represents that term to add to the slide
- Use the Google Slides'™ tools to draw the geometry term
- Add a YouTube video all about that term
- Add a selfie of themselves showing an example of the term using their hands/arms (Ex. fist=point:::crossing arms=intersecting lines)
Direction slides include:
- How to embed the presentation into your class blog/website
- How to add images
- How to add selfies
- Video Tutorial for students showing them how to add text, images, videos and drawings to the slides. Both a YouTube and Vimeo video are available in case YouTube is blocked at your school. Just play and GO!
Student Slides include:
- point
- line
- line segment
- ray
- plane
- parallel lines
- perpendicular lines
- intersecting lines
- right angle
- acute angle
- obtuse angle
- lines of symmetry
- Solid figures (sphere, cone, cube, cylinder, rectangular prism, triangular prism, square pyramid, triangular pyramid)
- 5 different colored slides for the teacher to add their own terms
Delete any slides you do not wish to use.
Geometry Terms in Google Slides™ make an excellent independent project, homework assignment or even digital notebook that students can add to as you teach.

This product comes as a link in a PDF file. First, make sure you are signed into your Google™ account. Click on the link and you will be prompted to "Make a Copy". Rename the file to whatever you would like. It will be sent directly to your Drive! Disperse to your students via Google Classroom™, Google Drive™ Shared folder, your Learning Platform, etc..
