Looking to build classroom community right from the beginning of the year and decorate your space with engaging, inexpensive décor? Download my Getting to Know You Classroom Banner Activity! This no-prep back to school activity is great for the first day of school or any time you want to help students get to know each other!
Students receive a banner worksheet (both pre-made and blank templates are provided!) to record and design information about themselves. After sharing out, construct a classroom banner using the enclosed directions to hang in your classroom. Also included in this resource are the letters to spell "ALL ABOUT US" to give your banner some fun flare. Students will love seeing their name and favorites in your classroom as they get to know each other!
