Description

Every year I like to get to know my students better with some getting to know you questions. This getting to know you resource includes 60 questions both music and non-music related.

GAME IDEA- If using in person, print out the cards and play hot potato. When the music stops, that student answers a question! Or how about a human spinner? See video preview for example.

If using online, use an online spinner and spin a number. Go to that # slide and ask their question.

Use online or offline. Slides are available as Google Slides, PowerPoint or PDF. Cards are printable PDF. An optional cover card is included.

I used this for a Get to Know You version of Hot Potato with my K-2 kiddos this year. It was really fun! They asked to play again the next time I saw them.

I actually used this in class, as well as online - I projected the questions onto my TV screen and started out our classes with this activity. It was fun to get to know my students better, and they had fun learning about each other, too.
