- Complete an Exit Ticket: Fill in the Code. Respond to 3 reading comprehension statements.
Approximately 1 hour of Activities (7 separate activities for all at once or separately)

- Anticipation Task- Pre-assessment and Post-assessment (Discussion Points)
- Informational Text- 2 Pages in Each Resource
- Color by Code Task 1- Multiple Choice Questions (Find Answers in Text)
- Color by Code Task 2- Scour the Scene: Find Sentences in a Paragraph
- Color by Code Task 3- Decipher the Clues: Use the Pig Pen cipher to answer 3 riddles
- Complete the Color by Code picture and respond to a ‘Would You Rather’ question
***All tasks in these challenges are related to the well-being and self-learning of gifted students and require students to use several reading comprehension skills***
