Description

This is a cute activity that Kindergarten - Fourth Grade can enjoy. The art portion of this activity is independent, and students can work without any help from their teacher. Just print out the gingerbread house template and decorating sheets and students can color, cut and glue the pieces together. Or you can put out construction paper, paint, stickers, etc. (whatever you choose for them to decorate with).

Next, you can place my example under a document camera/slide or guide them through choosing an addition, subtraction, multiplication or division equation. Students choose numbers that they want to use and solve for. Students will be able to work with guided practice (Kinder-1st Grade) or independently (2nd-4th Grade).
