Description

Gingerbread House Trigonometry is a great way to incorporate the holidays in math. This activity assesses students knowledge of Right Triangle Trigonometry, Pythagorean Theorem, and the Six Trigonometric Functions. Students will work in groups of 4 to complete a gingerbread house. Each student will have a role: Architect, Designer, Construct, or Intake. The house is made from poster board and can be designed using 2D or 3D elements - fully up to the teacher. A rubric is attached.
