This time of the year is beyond crazy and tiring, which is why meaningful STEM activities can become your best friend during this exciting time! This fun math-based STEM lesson challenges your kids to design a parachute that holds a paper gingerbread man. Sounds pretty simple, but the gingerbread man has to stay attached to the parachute and the challenge involves your parachute going as slow as possible.

I've been a teacher for years and this is in my top 5 of my best activities- my classes absolutely loved it! I completed this challenge with 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.
