Description
Students will use a Chomp Saw (or scissors and glue), along with a variety of loose parts, to design and build their houses. Through this hands-on project, we will explore several Grade 3 math outcomes, including:
- Place value to 10,000 (writing, comparing, ordering numbers)
- Addition and subtraction within 1000
- Naming and interpreting fractions
- Measuring length using millimetres and centimetres
