Description

This globalization and the modern world lesson plan is an amazing resource for you to help students understand how the world is connected through trade, technology, and globalization.

The download includes everything you need for a thorough, engaging, and interactive lesson in middle school or high school.

A warm up starts things off where students review where their clothes came from based on their tags and consider why so many items might be made in far off places.

Next is an engaging PowerPoint on Globalization in the Modern World. The presentation provides a definition, examples, causes, and the positive and negative effects of globalization.

The presentation also covers organization and agreements like the EU, WTO, IMF, World Bank, and USMCA that impact globalization as well as the impact of tariffs and other protectionist policies.

A Google Slides option is included along with a fully-narrated flipped classroom video and answer key for the guided notes.

A concluding worksheet on global trade is also included along with recommended supplemental videos in the lesson plan.

A great companion activity for this is my Modern World Organizations Project.

Thanks so much for checking it out!
